Dead Rock West - We talk about the different dynamics in the band, a deal with Continental Airlines, and how their album "Honey and Salt" was recorded on two-inch tape instead of the typical digital hard drive. In addition, we talk about Richard Dodd (Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Steve Earl, The Dixie Chicks, hundreds more) mixing their album, a move that only happened with a simple question of "do you want to mix our album?" This band is, as Frankie Lee puts it, "full of studs." If you listen to their perspectives, you can tell that they are wise to the creation and history of music, and amazingly humble about their abilities... but I like leaving it at "full of studs."
