From Jersey City, although there could be a convincing argument they're from another planet, The Gay Blades are on a whole other level than you are.  There is so much entertaining personality oozing from this duo, you'll need a roll of paper towels to clean up with once your done.  Music aside, these guys get the entertainment aspect of "show" much more than most people.  Music included, they've got quite a dynamic range on their Ghosts album to satisfy a plethora of mood swings from the most manic of your friends.  From the killer thud of "O Shot" to the sensitive, intelligent (both lyrically and musically) "We Wear Mittens," the record runs the gauntlet from putty to granite, tears to laughter.  As you can read on their myspace page, not everyone buys into their shtick, both in personality and music.  And I say, fuck them.  This band is refreshing.  In this interview, you'll hear more entertaining conversation than you can probably handle at one time.  Topics range from nude body-doubles for profit, spooning, their Ghosts record, the intensity of their live shows, shitty band names (they include their own in that list), smelly balls, and shoveling shit.  Funny thing, I'm not joking about that list in any way.  Fun interview, great band.
