From Austin, Texas, we interviewed the steps in that exact place.  These guys are young and fun and their "The Steps" release has a ton of great tracks!  There's something about Will Thompson's lead vocals that attracts my ear.  I haven't figured out what it is yet, but it's almost as if he's not a lead singer; like he's standing up to the mic, but sometimes singing, and sometimes talking on top of the music.  As much as that might sound like a negative vibe, it's not.  It ads an element of excitement that wouldn't otherwise be there because when the vocals shift into the chorus and he's getting into the powerful range of his abilities, it's balls out energy and kicks the song!  In this interview, we talk about falling into record labels, the Austin music scene, click tracks, the record "The Steps" and how it's been received, and more serious aspects of band necessities like cabernet and Marker's Mark!  Yummy!
