Atlanta, Georgia band that excites me more than 90% of the crap I hear on active rock stations today. Why they aren't on every rock station across the country is beyond me, but all I can do in the meantime is play them here - so I do. In this interview, we talk about their latest EP Devils and Angels, the importance of live shows being like pushing play on the record (plus a little live energy of course), playing on big bills with big bands, "success," a marching band, seeing more art, a bullshit meeter, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - you may meet requirements to get a beer from the band at a live show. These guys are a great group and have their heads screwed on straight for what they want and what they're willing to do to get it. I love that they feel it as important to rock the house for 10 people just as much as 10,000. They love what they do and they believe in their music, and I buy into it as well. As long as some groupies (they're like flies on old food around these guys) don't get them into trouble somehow (babies, STDs, STIs, leaving them handcuffed to a bed) this band can be as big as any I've seen. They've got the sound and smarts to make it happen, and they will.
